It’s been a month since our last market update. A lot has changed in the market since then. The markets are up roughly 25% since their low of March 23rd.

Nurses in this province have faced substantial increases in their Long Term Disability rates over the last few years. Many nurses are beginning to find their long term disability rates are becoming unaffordable.

I‘ve been taking a lot of calls from clients like you, these last two weeks. I understand you’re concerned about the market and the impact it’s having on your accounts. Many people are worried and rightfully so.

Government workers in this province have seen a substantial increase in their long term disability rates over the last few years. Many workers have found their rates going up by as much as 45% in one year. Alot of workers have found these rates are starting to become unaffordable.

Sometimes you can find yourself caught in the middle of something you didn’t expect. Sometimes life can throw you a complete curveball.
